This Christmas, AWS are donating to the Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter. They are our chosen charity for the festive period and so we have organised a collection for them for the duration of December.
The shelter does amazing work all year around looking after not only just the Cats and Dogs but also smaller animals like hamsters, guinea pigs and farm animals like horses. They give these animals a home and look after them until they find their forever homes.
They are looking for donations in money and you can donate this way on their website however we're also collecting donations for their animals on our Reception. There is a range of things you can donate apart from anything that has been used or is in poor condition. Here are some of the items you may want to donate:
Litter Trays
Food for the Animals - they currently have kittens, cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and horses
Treats for any of the animals
Toys for the animals/slow feeding toys
Blankets/Hay/old quilts
Newspaper (as long as it doesn't have any coating on)

We will be dropping these off for the animals on the 21st December 2021 so if you'd like us to donate anything for you, we ask that you please bring it in before that date.
