WHEN DO I HAVE TO PAY MY SELF ASSESSMENT TAX ?
You must pay your self-assessment tax to HMRC no later than 31st January & 31st July for payments on account.

HOW MUCH CAN I EARN BEFORE BEING AUTOMATICALLY ENROLLED INTO A WORKPLACE PENSION SCHEME?
Currently you can earn up to £192 a week or £833 a month before being automatically enrolled into a workplace pension scheme. You must also be aged between 22 - state pension age to be automatically enrolled. There are many other options to take part in a workplace pension scheme, even if you are not auto enrolled, give us a call to find out more.
WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM WAGE REQUIREMENTS FOR 2021/2022?
23 and over: £8.91 per hour
21-22: £8.36 per hour
18-20 £6.56 per hour
16-17: £4.62 per hour
Apprentice rate: £4.30 per hour
Please note, if your employee is over 19 and into their second year of the apprenticeship, the individual must be on minimum wage for their age.

HOW MUCH DO I NEED TO PAY MY EMPLOYEE FOR SSP AND SMP? CAN I CLAIM THESE BACK?
The current rate for SSP is £96.35 and the current rate for SMP, SPP and SAP is £151.97 per week.
If you have an employee on maternity or adoption leave, you can claim this back from HMRC once the final amount has been paid to the employee.
You cannot claim back sick pay from HMRC. This must be covered by the employer.
